All A&E departments are required to publish the following data: total time in the emergency department measuring the time it took a patient to be discharged or admitted after they arrived; time from arrival to initial assessment; the number of patients who left before receiving a meaningful assessment; the rate at which patients return within 7 days to the same A&E department as a result of the same condition; total time spent in the emergency department.
