Haematology

We provide care for adult patients with a wide range of haematological conditions.

These include:

  • sickle cell / thalassaemia
  • antenatal screening which includes genetic testing & counselling
  • general haematological conditions including cancer/non cancerous diseases
  • anticoagulation
  • drop-in service for sickle cell patients.

Making an appointment

In most cases you will be referred to one of our clinics by your GP or by an internal hospital consultant. Some clinics are available to 'Choose and Book'.

Registered sickle cell patients can either be sent by GP or self refer to the drop-in service available on the medical day unit.
