We run a comprehensive allergy service, which aims to give a reliable diagnosis or exclusion of allergy through exploring the patient’s story and scientifically validated tests for children.

We make use of skin prick tests, allergy blood tests and a range of challenge tests, such as foods and medicines. We are specialists in immunotherapy treatment for wasp/bee venom, grass and tree pollen and house dust mite. In addition, we have an anti-IgE clinic for severe persistent asthma. Investigation of angiodema/urticaria and anaphylaxis is combined with full patient education and appropriate support - as well as advice and support for parents and guardians. We also have access to specialist dieticians with experience of food allergy and intolerance.
