Treatments are mainly based in the day stay unit and outpatients, although inpatient admissions can be arranged where appropriate.
 

Services available

Most conditions are assessed in the podiatry outpatient clinics.

There are in addition specialist clinics in the following areas:

• combined rheumatology clinic
• combined pain clinic
• injection therapy under image intensifier
• comprehensive orthotic service
• surgical derbidement of ulceration and infection – Osteomyelitis / diabetic foot surgery.

We also provide a full range of elective surgical foot procedures, including:

• Hallux valgus surgery
• Hallux Limitus surgery
• Digital surgery
• Soft tissue procedures
• Tendon surgery
• Mid-foot arthritis
• Hind and flat foot surgery
• Tarsal tunnel decompression.

Making an appointment

We hold outpatient clinics on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and alternate Fridays.

Appointments can be made through your GP.
