Electric charging points for electric vehicles

We have installed a Pod Point charging unit, part of “Source London”, which enables two electric cars to park and charge up.

Users will need to be signed up to “Source London” which requires an annual £100 fee for free use of the London network of charge points.

Located in the central car park at the front of the Hospital the procedure to park and charge is based on the time and day of the week and whether you are staff, a patient or visitor.

Using the electric charge points

Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm you will need to let the security parking attendant know when you arrive on site that you have an electric vehicle and you will be directed to the reserved space. The 2 spaces require a barrier to be raised for access.

Monday to Friday after 6pm and before 8am the barrier will be raised which means owners of electric cars can drive straight into the marked space.

At weekends owners of electric cars can drive straight in and park at the marked charge point space. Once at the space you can use your Source London card to access the cable for charging your vehicle. Currently there is no charge for this service.
