How to find us

Homerton Hospital’s accessibility has improved since 2010. Visits by train or bus are easy, especially with the upgraded and extended London Overground line and links to Stratford International Station.

On foot

From Homerton station - Exit the station, turn left and immediately left again, under the railway bridge and along Barnabas Road to Homerton High Street. Turn left on Homerton High Street and cross the road to take the first right on Wardle Street.

At the end of Wardle Street, the hospital is in front of you. Go left and follow the signs for the main entrance to Homerton Hospital. See map for detail.

By rail

Homerton’s London Overground station is a five-minute walk from the hospital and the station is now linked to most parts of London. Homerton is only two stops from Stratford International (for Central Line, Jubilee Line and Docklands Light Railway) and four stops from Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line and mainline rail).

Bicycle users

There are bicycle racks at the front of the hospital, by the main entrance/adjacent to the police base. The racks are used by staff and visitors.

Visitors for the education centre should also park bikes here and walk through the hospital to access the centre. Click here for more guidance on cycling from Transport for London

By bus

Homerton Hospital is served by ten London bus routes: 26, 30, 308, 242, W15, 488, 425, 276, 394 and 236.

Car parking

Unfortunately Homerton Hospital only has limited car parking facilities for patients and visitors.

Up until 3pm each day, parking is limited to a small number of short-stay parking bays for visitors, which include parking bays restricted for use by drivers with a Blue Badge that recognises a disability. In addition there is a drop-off and pick-up area.

After 3pm each day (including public holidays) parking bays are available in the car park at the front of the hospital for all visitors and patients.

Parking is free on the Homerton site, but note that there is no guarantee of a parking bay.

There are controlled parking zones around the hospital (Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6.30pm) and some pay-and-display areas.
