Homerton’s London Overground station, with ramped access, is a five-minute walk from the hospital and the station is now linked to most parts of London. Homerton is only two stops from Stratford International (for Central Line, Jubilee Line and Docklands Light Railway) and four stops from Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line and mainline rail).

There are bicycle racks at the front of the hospital, by the main entrance/adjacent to the police base. The racks are used by staff and visitors. Link here for a PDF map showing where additional parking is available around the hospital.
Visitors for the education centre should also park bikes here and walk through the hospital to access the centre.
Car parking spaces for patients and visitors at the hospital are limited.
On weekdays from 8am until 5pm, parking is limited to a small number of short stay parking bays (30 minutes and one hour). There are 20 one hour bays have a no return within two hour restriction. Our 8 disabled parking bays are restricted for use by drivers with a blue badge. These bays have a three hour maximum parking. There is also a drop off and pick up area accommodating 6 cars max at any one time.
After 5pm each day, weekends and bank holidays, parking is also available in the car park at the front of the hospital for all visitors and patients.
There are controlled parking zones around the hospital (Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6.30pm) and some pay and display areas.
Please speak to the onsite car park security officer if you require assistance with parking. Extensions can usually be made for patients providing they let staff from the department they are attending know.
We have installed a Pod Point charging unit, part of “Source London”, which enables two electric cars to park and charge up.
Users will need to be signed up to 'Source London' which requires an annual £100 fee for free use of the London network of charge points.
Located in the central car park at the front of the Hospital the procedure to park and charge is based on the time and day of the week and whether you are staff, a patient or visitor.
Using the electric charge points
Monday to Friday, 8am - 6pm you will need to let the security parking attendant know when you arrive on site that you have an electric vehicle and you will be directed to the reserved space. The 2 spaces require a barrier to be raised for access.
Monday to Friday after 6pm and before 8am the barrier will be raised which means owners of electric cars can drive straight into the marked space.
At weekends owners of electric cars can drive straight in and park at the marked charge point space. Once at the space you can use your Source London card to access the cable for charging your vehicle. Currently there is no charge for this service.
