Introducing Homerton Helpers
Volunteers come from all sections of the community and have different motivations for getting involved. But they all have one thing in common – a commitment to give their time for free to improve patients’ experience of their hospital stay.

Who can apply?
Homerton Helpers is open to everyone aged 18 and over. Volunteers must be available to come into the hospital for a minimum of three hours per week and commit to volunteering for at least six months.
You don’t need previous experience of volunteering or working in a hospital to apply. We’re looking for individuals who are reliable, friendly and approachable, and committed to making a difference.
