Your appointment during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic

Before attending your appointment please answer the following questions

Have you travelled internationally in the last 10 days to a country that is on the government red list?

If you have answered ‘YES’ to any of the questions above, please DO NOT attend the department.

 

Please phone the number on your appointment letter to reschedule you appointment or replace your face-to-face appointment with a telephone consultation.

Please make sure you follow Government and NHS guidelines and use the NHS 111 service if you need help to manage your symptoms. Follow the latest Government advice please visit www.gov.uk/coronavirus or call NHS 111.

Attending your appointment

Please use a face covering to cover your mouth and nose while on Trust premises. There are disposable masks at all patient entrances.

Hands

Please make use of the hand sanitiser on arrival and departure at each entrance point in the hospital. Wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds each time. You should do this at home, before coming into the hospital and regularly when you are here, for example after touching your face or using the toilet.

Appointment times

Please do not come in until 15 minutes before your allocated time slot, to ensure there is enough space to follow social distancing in our outpatient areas.

Visitors

Visiting is restricted in our hospital, so please come to your appointment alone as this will reduce the risk to you and others. If you cannot come in on your own and require a carer for assistance, please bring one adult only. This person will also need to have been symptom-free for 14 days.

Please keep 2 metres apart from other people wherever possible. Please keep to the LEFT in the corridors
