City and Hackney Child and Mental Health Service cited as one of the best in the country
We are delighted to see that the Children's Commissioner for England has just released a report into Children's mental health and provision across England. City and Hackney is ranked 6th best performer in the country (based on 20/21 data), and the only CAMHS service in London! Community CMAHS Homerton works in partnership with ELFT, Education, Social Care and the Voluntary Sector as a CAMHS Alliance. Of note, one of the factors used in this report to grade CCGs is : Children not accessing treatment “ being turned away “ .Our Early Intervention offer in First Steps combined with CAMHS Disability mean we have no lower threshold and no wrong door. Community CAMHS Homerton are deeply proud of this offer to both disabled and non-disabled children embedded within the City and Hackney Communities to prevent escalation of mental health, following the THRIVE model of care.
