Non-clinical navigators
Non Clinical navigators (NCN) are also based in this area of the department. NCN’s work within the emergency department, their role is to support patients attending the emergency department to access primary care services.
NCN’s can provide you with a wide range of advice and information on the services available within the community for example, GP services, dental services, foot health, sexual health service and psychological services. They can also provide you with advice on how to register with a GP if required.
