The CQC has published the results of the 2022 survey of people’s experience of maternity care in England. It surveyed people who had a baby in January and February 2022 in 121 acute NHS Trusts and covers all aspects of maternity care.
The results for Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust have shown improvements compared to our 2021 results, and above average scores in several key areas.
Linda Machakaire, Director of Midwifery and Lead for Neonatal Nursing said:
“Safe, compassionate, and quality care is always the top priority for the maternity team at Homerton and we remain committed to providing outstanding care to the families that use our services. We are pleased that the survey results reflect the improvements we have made, highlighting the quality of the care we provide and the hard work of our teams.
“We welcome feedback that highlights areas that can be improved, the results have identified some areas where we can do better. We will continue to work with the people who use our maternity services, our partner organisations, and user-led Maternity Voices Partnership to develop and implement an action plan to address these areas and make sure that we provide the best possible care for everybody who use our service.”
