Homerton Healthcare launches three new strategic priorities
Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust has launched three new strategic priorities setting out how the organisation will deliver high‑quality, joined up and equitable care over the coming years.
As an integrated acute and community trust, Homerton’s three priorities focus on improving care across whole pathways - from hospital to home - while embedding innovation and improvement into everyday practice.
The three priorities are:
- Integrated care – delivered seamlessly across home, hospital and community
- Better value: better care – through our people and our resources
- Innovation – that transforms care and improves lives
Chief Executive and Place-based leader Bas Sadiq said:
“Our three new strategic priorities give us clear focus on where we need to concentrate our efforts as an organisation.
“They also set out how we will move forward together with our partners across the City and Hackney health and care system.
“By working differently, using innovation and strengthening integration with patients, residents and local partners, we can improve care.”
The strategic priorities clearly align with the national NHS priorities in the NHS 10-year plan, including shifting more care closer to home, improving patient and staff experience through moving from analogue to digital tools and systems, and redesigning services around patients and local populations to support the prevention of ill health.
