Stories from our supporters, the work we've done, and impact we've had.
Through the generosity of our funders, partners and supporters, Homerton Hope brings additional care, comfort and wellbeing to patients, families, staff and the wider community. By securing charitable grants and developing meaningful partnerships, we support projects that enhance NHS services and improve people’s experience of care, providing support beyond what core NHS funding can deliver.

Homerton Hope secured £20,000 from The National Lottery Community Fund to support the Tuesday Circle Cancer Support Group over two years.
The Tuesday Circle provides a friendly and supportive space where people affected by cancer can meet others who understand their experiences.
Approximately 15 to 20 people attend each week, receiving peer support and taking part in activities including yoga, mindfulness, relaxation and creative sessions.
The funding has enabled the group to continue delivering regular sessions, meet essential venue and facilitator costs, and provide a reliable source of support outside a clinical environment.
For participants, the group offers more than activities. It provides companionship, reassurance and a sense of belonging during what can be a difficult and isolating time.
Through the grant secured by Homerton Hope, local people affected by cancer can continue accessing meaningful support within their community.
Donate to our cancer services fundraiser to help us continue supporting this group and other initiatives in the cancer service.
