You will need to attend our patient information evening before any treatment can start. You can attend a session when you’ve already been referred or before referral[MM1] .

This is where we review the steps in the treatment process, explain the risks and problems that may occur and explain the next steps you need to take to start treatment. It is important that you attend this and understand the information contained in it. If you’re seeking treatment as a couple, both partners will need to attend the information session. You’ll still need to attend even if you have had IVF elsewhere,  as the treatment at our clinic may be different from what you have experienced before. It also gives you an opportunity to ask general questions about the treatments.

The information sessions take place online on the second Tuesday of each month from 5:30pm to 6:30pm.  The sessions are held via the DrDoctor Portal.

LGBTQ+ patient information sessions

We also hold quarterly patient information sessions for LGBTQ+ patients. We encourage our LGBTQ+ patients to attend one of these sessions where possible, as they are specifically tailored towards LGBTQ+ couples seeking treatment.

The sessions take place online on the below dates from XX to XX[MM2] , they’re held via the DrDoctor Portal.

Upcoming LGBTQ+ patient information sessions

·         26 August

·         25 November

Whichever session you attend, please make sure you record your attendance

You’ll be asked to scan a QR code during the session to record your attendance. Treatment can’t be started unless your attendance is confirmed, so please make sure you do this – if you have any issues with the QR code please flag this during the session.

Please see our DrDoctor page for help with any issues accessing these online sessions. Please note:  if you go to the link before the sessions date and time, you will see a “Video meeting has not started” message – this is normal and you’ll be able to access the meeting at the correct date and time.
