You can wear your contact lenses to your eye screening appointment.
We will be putting eye drops into your eyes so that we can take better photographs of the back of your eyes. We can still do this while you are wearing your contact lenses if you do not wish to remove them.
If you would prefer not to wear your contact lenses when we put in the eye drops you can:
Wear your spectacles, if you have a pair that you wear instead of your contact lenses. These will help you to read accurately down the eye chart
Bring your contact lens storage case and your bottle of storage/cleaning solution
If you wear daily disposable contact lenses you can bring a spare pair to put back in after the appointment.
You will be able to wash your hands before removing and inserting your contact lenses as hygiene is a very important aspect of wearing contact lenses
